The Board

About the Diversity Saves Board

The board of Diversity Saves is made up of five individuals that are passionate about spreading diversity and enhancing equality in the TTRPG space. Several members are creators themselves who have set aside time and effort to uplift projects from marginalized creators. Many of the members are from marginalized communities themselves. You can learn a bit more about the current board below.

Daniel Gonzales

President

Daniel is a longtime, passionate TTRPG player, game master, and freelance designer with a Mexican-American and Indigenous background and a deep love for his culture and the art of storytelling. In addition to his work in the TTRPG Industry, he is a digital accessibility and disability consultant and a lifelong pug lover.

S. Kaiya J.

Vice President

Kaiya is a Chinese-diaspora TTRPG designer with three years of previous experience in educational nonprofits.

Lethe

Treasurer

Lethe is a queer, nonbinary, demi nerd with enough dysmorphia and dysphoria to never want to be perceived in person. They worked in an award-winning comic book store, where they got their start in DMing and the TTRPG spaces. They are currently an editor and sensitivity reader for projects. They’re a kitchen and garden witch with a love of accessibility testing and union organizing.

Nekola

Non-Officer Board Member

Nekola is a queer, neurodivergent content appreciator who first dived into TTRPGs in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. By day she is a non-profit accountant and by nights and weekends she combines her passions for philanthropy and event planning to host unnecessarily over-the-top fundraising streams, including 12 Games of Critmas and the annual Weave Racers tournament. She’s also a cat mom to two beautiful babies, so only bring that up when you have 12 hours to hear her talk about Hank and Penelope.

Kim

Non-Officer Board Member

Kim is a queer Filipino-American woman with a love of Pathfinder, co-op video games, and goblincore. She works as a registered nurse and nursing instructor in the American South. She’s constantly on the lookout for stray animals to adopt and consequently lives with a growing menagerie of critters. Kim acts as the Instagram Guru for Diversity Saves and always chooses Webber in Don’t Starve Together because sometimes it’s fun to embody your fears.
